Man reported missing from Fraserburgh found safe and well

A man who was reported missing from Fraserburgh's been found safe and well.

Police had earlier issued an urgent plea to anyone who may have seen William Skakle to come forward. 

The 74-year-old had been last seen in the Gallowhill area in the town on Saturday August 19th at around 9pm.

During the appeal, Inspector Nicholas Searle said: “Concerns are growing for William’s welfare. He can get confused and it is important we find him as soon as possible to make sure he is safe and well. “I am asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to please get in touch with us.”

The police have thanked everyone who shared their appeal earlier.
