Two men to appear in court in connection with north-east house break-ins

Two men will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with a number of north-east break-ins.

The incidents occurred in a number of houses in Blairs, Banchory-Devenick, Findon and Portlethen recently.

Inspector Di Meola of Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team said: “Housebreaking is a horrible crime and tackling it remains a priority for North East Division.

“I would ask members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to report any suspicious activity to us so appropriate action can be taken. Local officers will continue to carry patrols in the areas which have been affected.”

The 22-year-old and 24-year-old were both arrested and charged.
