Two men charged after drugs recovered in Aberdeen

Two men have been charged after a quantity of Class A drugs was recovered in Aberdeen.

The drugs were found in Allenvale Cemetery following an intelligence-led operation on Monday 17 October. The estimated street value is approximately £8,000.

Two men, aged 18 and 22, were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They're due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Tuesday, 18 October). 

Detective Constable Kevin Lynch said: “This operation demonstrates our continued commitment to rid our communities of drugs. We know the harm and misery they bring to families and we will do everything we can to ensure they are not making it onto our streets. With the continued co-operation and support from the public, we will achieve our aim.”
