Two arrested after woman left in a serious condition in Aberdeen

Two people have been arrested after a woman was left in a serious condition following a disturbance in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to Hutcheon Street at around 12:50am this morning. 

Police Scotland confirmed the 33-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with two people being arrested in connection with the incident. 

These are a 36-year-oldwoman and a 37-year-old man and Hutcheon Street remains closed. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.50am on Tuesday, 30 May, 2023 we were called to a report of a disturbance on Hutcheon Street, Aberdeen.

“A 33-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she remains in a serious condition.

“A 37-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

“Hutcheon Street remains closed.”
