Two people are due to appear in court today (Friday) after a stash of drugs worth £75,000 was recovered from a home in Aberdeen.
Police raided a house in the Great Northern Road area yesterday, where they seized a quantity of heroin and arrested a 56-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
They are expected at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Officers also found a five-figure sum of cash.
Detective Inspector Robin Sim said: “Tackling illegal drugs and removing them from our communities continues to be a priority for us.
“We rely on the support of the public to build intelligence on drug-related issues so that we can act on their concerns."
