London pair in court over £400k drugs haul in Aberdeen

Two men from London have appeared in court after police in Aberdeen discovered cannabis plants with a potential street value of £400,000.

Officers searched properties on View Terrace in Rosemount, Seaton Walk in Seaton and Bedford Avenue in Kittybrewster between Friday and yesterday, where they discovered cannabis cultivations.

Hundreds of plants were seized from the sites.

Fatos Ilazaj, 28, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today on three charges under the misuse of Drugs Act. He made no plea and was released on bail.

Mariglen Celaj, 26, also faced three drugs charges. He made no plea and was also released on bail.
