RGU confirm virtual summer graduation ceremonies

Robert Gordon University has announced their summer graduations ceremonies will all be virtual.

The university revealed the news that due to the pandemic they had "little choice" but to host virtual graduations. 

A number of events will take place on July 16. 

University bosses said on their website: "While this may not be the graduation ceremony you would have hoped for, for your safety and that of your families and the wider University community must be our priority. 

"We will of course do our very best to make this a memorable occasion for you. 

"Wherever you are in the world, you will be able to experience the virtual graduation ceremony with your peers, friends and family." 

Students are being asked to take to the virtual stage in a short video or image which will be showcased during the celebration. 

Information about the ceremonies will be released in due course.
