Q&A: National clinical director on Aberdeen bar coronavirus outbreak

The national clinical director for Scotland says he does not expect that the Scottish Government will be forced to shut pubs down - unless there are several further outbreaks of coronavirus.

Professor Jason Leitch was speaking after 13 cases of Covid-19 were linked to The Hawthorn Bar in Aberdeen.

All of those involved are said to have suffered mild or no symptoms.

Prof Leitch has also given advice to those who are visiting hospitality businesses - and cleared up confusion on the issue of staff wearing face coverings in bars and restaurants.

You can watch his Q&A for Original 106 above.
