Portugal added to quarantine list in Scotland

The Scottish Government has reimposed quarantine rules for holidays to Portugal.

Anyone travelling into Scotland from the country after 4am on Saturday will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.

It comes just a fortnight after Portugal was added to the safe list north of the border.

Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf made the announcement on Twitter:

Wales has also introduced quarantine rules for the country - but England has not - meaning the rules now differ across the UK.

It comes after restrictions were introduced on travel from Greece to Scotland from 4am today.
