Police say man's body found in Dyce, but formal identification still to take place

A man's body has been found in Dyce, according to police.

It was located in Kirkhill Forest this morning.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and a report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Meanwhile, despite formal identification still yet to take place, the family of 40-year-old Ross Scaife, who was reported missing on Sunday (20 March), has been made aware.

The Press and Journal reports that he was reported missing following the Stereophonics concert at P&J Live in Aberdeen on that particular day.

A statement from Police Scotland reads: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was found in the Kirkhill Forest area of Dyce, Aberdeen, on the morning of Tuesday, 22 March.

"Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of 40-year-old Ross Scaife, reported missing on Sunday, 20 March, has been made aware.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
