Police hunting masked men after Spital robbery

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in the Spital area of Aberdeen.

Two men entered the Spital Local Store and assaulted a member of staff at around 4pm yesterday (24 March).

Both men have been described as around six feet tall and wearing all black clothing with their faces covered.

They made off with a three-figure sum of cash in the direction of King Street and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.

Detective Constable Chris McKie said: “Fortunately no one was injured but staff were left extremely upset by what happened.

“We are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or who may know who these men are or where they went to get in touch.”
