Man to appear in court after more than £72,000 worth of drugs recovered in Aberdeen

A 34-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today after a drugs recovery of cocaine and heroin.

Detectives acted on intelligence received by the public and arrested the man yesterday in the Guild Street area. 

They also recovered a low four figure sum of money before later finding the drugs worth approximately £72,600 at an address on Walker Road after a drug search warrant was issued. 

Detective Constable Jordan Cheyne of North East CID said : "Police Scotland are dedicated to disrupting those involved in the sale and supply of controlled drugs within our communities and we are grateful for the continued support and assistance provided by the public.
