A man has appeared in court charged with murder in Aberdeen.
David Bain, 26, made a brief appearance today following the death of Clifford Anderson.
Mr Anderson, 60, died following an incident on Jasmine Terrace.
Bain, whose general address was given as Aberdeen, appeared at the city's sheriff court on a single charge.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Yesterday relatives paid tribute to Mr Anderson, who had worked for ScotRail for more than 30 years.
