Grampian Transport Museum's All Ford event returns for showstopper ninth year

All-Ford returns today at the Grampian Transport Museum in what is its ninth staging of the event.

Titled 'a celebration of Ford through the ages' it will showcase the youngest Ford in its fleet, never been seen before in Scotland.

The brand new Ford transit custom is their latest edition but also on display will be a legendary 1916 Ford Model T.

More than 240 Ford and Ford powered vehicles have entered the day, it what looks like will be a bumper event for the museum.

Museum manager Ross McKirdy said: “There has been an enormous amount of work put into this event by the organising team to ensure it is a great day out for the whole family.

"Not only are there all the road-going vehicles but ‘The Grid’ also has a mouth-watering selection of competition Fords and Ford powered race and rally cars, ranging from a 1953 Brabham BT6 Formula Junior racing car to Ford’s own WRC works rally Fiesta.

“There’s a children’s treasure hunt, bouncy castle, trade stands and food stalls, and AllFord visitors will also be able to visit the museum at a discounted rate.”

He also thanked TrustFord Aberdeen, supporters of the event, who were able to supply a number of cars for the day including the new transit.

The event runs from 11am-4pm with tickets costing £8 for adults and free for children.
