There's some travel advice for Aberdeen fans heading to this weekend's cup final.

ScotRail's telling them to plan our journey's in advance and take separate trains from Rangers supporters to and from Hampden Park.

Dons fans are being asked to take trains to and from King's Park.

Rangers fans will travel to and from Mount Florida.

There's also going to be extra carriages added to the trains between Glasgow Central before and after the game.

ScotRail's also asking supporters to allow extra time for their journey as separate queues will be in place.

At Central train station Dons fans are to queue on the main concourse to go to Kings Park. Rangers fans will queue via Hope Street.

Those going to the game via train are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance.

Phil Campbell, ScotRail Customer Operations Director, said: “ScotRail is looking forward to helping fans travel to Hampden to cheer on their side in the men’s Scottish League Cup final.

“We’re asking customer’s heading to the games to plan ahead and allow more time for travel, as trains will be busy.

“We’ll be doing all we can to help you travel to the match as hassle-free as possible, which includes more seats on train services to and from Mount Florida and Kings Park.

"Queuing systems will be in place before and after the matches so please make sure you know where to go. We have a dedicated webpage with more information, and our staff will also be on hand to direct you.

“Buying your return tickets in advance through our mTicket system on the ScotRail will reduce your need to queue.”

Both teams are playing for the first piece of silverware of the season.

The match kicks off on Sunday at 3pm.
