Drivers are being warned to expect delays when travelling on the A92 towards the Haudigain roundabout.

From Friday, both lanes of the northbound carriageway will be closed and a contraflow will in place for around 12 weeks.

The road will shut from 7pm on Thursday, on North Anderson Drive, until 7am Friday for the new system to be put in place. A 30mph speed restriction will be in place, which will reduce to 10mph at crossover locations.

The traffic system is in place to ensure the safety of staff carrying out work as part of the Haudagain Junction Improvement project.

Drivers are also being reminded a contraflow system is still in place on the A96 Auchmill Road.
