Boys aged 13 and 16 charged with setting fire and thefts in Aberdeen

Two boys - aged 13 and 16 - have been charged with a series of crimes in the Garthdee area of Aberdeen.

The incidents - which are said to have happened between Sunday April 11 and Sunday June 6 - included fireraising, theft and vandalism.

The pair have been reported to the youth justice management unit.

PC Andrew Peter from the Nigg Community Policing Team said: "I’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance throughout this investigation and assure them that we will continue to deal robustly with reports of anti-social crime throughout our community."
