Barry Robson confirmed as long-term Aberdeen manager

Barry Robson's signed a two year deal.

Barry Robson's been confirmed as the 24th manager of Aberdeen Football Club.

He's agreed a two year contract extension, along with his assistant Steve Agnew - it means they'll be at Pittodrie until at least the end of the 2024/25 season.

Robson made 76 appearances for the first team, as well as picking up a League Cup winners medal in 2014.

He's been in charge since Jim Goodwin was sacked in late January - and they've won their last seven Scottish Premiership games, taking them up to third.

Assistant, Steve Agnew, has also been given a longer-term deal.
