Appeal following one-vehicle crash in Aberdeenshire

An investigation is under way following a road traffic collision on Saturday January 29.

At around 8.10am, police received a report of a one-vehicle crash on an unclassified road from Tarland to Tillypronie, near Migvie. The collision involved a green Can-Am light utility vehicle. The 36-year-old male driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal infirmary where he remains in a serious condition. Police are trying to establish the full circumstances of the crash.  Road Policing Sergeant Peter Henderson said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we have already spoken to a number of witnesses.  "I would appeal to anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision or the collision itself to please get in touch. Likewise, if anyone believes they may have dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries I would urge them to make contact.  "Our thoughts are with the injured party, his family and friends." Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1186 of 29 January, 2022.
