Aberdeen flats fire: woman, 47, appears in court charged with murder bid

A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in Aberdeen.

Jeanette Bruce, 47, who lives in the city, allegedly started a fire at a block of flats on Printfield Terrace on Sunday July 26.

She appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today where she faced two charges on petition.

She is accused of wilful fireraising to the danger of life and attempted murder, and also faces a charge under the Air Weapons and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2015.

Bruce made no plea and was released on bail, pending a further appearance.
