Shell is to cut 330 jobs from its UK operations - the majority of them in Aberdeen.
The firm announced plans last year to shed up to 9,000 positions worldwide by the end of 2022 - following a collapse in oil demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
It is expected most of the roles will be office-based and will go over the next two years.
North-east Labour MSP Lewis Macdonald has described it as a "real blow to the workers and their families".
