Police in Aberdeen say a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a quantity of cannabis with an estimated street value of £120,000 was recovered.
At around 11.55am on Saturday, 7 May, police say they carried out an intelligence-led stop and search of a vehicle on Great Northern Road, which led to the seizure of the drugs.
The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Monday, 9 May).
Detective Inspector Robin Sim, from Specialist Crime Division in Aberdeen, said: "Drug dealing and misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and I want to reassure people across the North East that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
