20 years after Piper Alpha the firm responsible for the rig say they "deeply regret" it.
Since the disaster - which killed 167 men on the 6th July 1988 - Occidental have pulled out of the North Sea.
Many survivors and families were angered by their response to the disaster but in an interview with Original 106 they say their thoughts are with survivors and with those who lost loved ones. |
