Emergency response stood down at Aberdeen’s Victoria Bridge

Emergency services have been stood down from Aberdeen’s Victoria Bridge.
Police, firefighters, the coastguard and RNLI lifeboats were called to the crossing from Aberdeen to Torry at around 8.40am.
The first rescue workers left the scene by 10.15am, and the bridge was re-opened by 11am.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public, but nothing untoward was found.
