Seven charged after thousands of pounds worth of drugs seized in Aberdeen

Seven people have been charged after two police drugs raids in Aberdeen.
A 55-year-old man and two women – aged 38 and 34 – were charged after searches at a property in Constitution Street uncovered heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis valued at around £6000.
Separately, two men, 48 and 35, and two women, 28 and 25, were charged after police found nearly £1,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in searches in Union Street.
Detective Sergeant John Snedden said: “Police Scotland in the North East is committed to tackling drug misuse and the illegal supply of drugs into our communities.
“Information from local residents is key to helping us identify offenders and remove illegal substances from the streets. If you notice any unusual behaviour or you have information about drug misuse in your area I would ask you to call us with details on 101.
