The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has put out an amber flood alert for the coastline in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Storm Caroline is expected to bring large waves to the northern Aberdeenshire coast, with spray and waves expected to go over the top of defences.
SEPA warns flooding could be likely in low-lying land and roads in exposed spots.
It’s thought the greatest risk of flooding will be at around 3pm.
There’s a warning roads could be affected, and that motorists should be wary.
