Race for Life Aberdeen 2009
Race for Life Aberdeen was held on Sunday 21 June, 2009 in GLORIOUS sunshine at King's Links supported by Original 106fm.
Cancer Research UK's target was 6,000 participants, and women of all ages and fitness levels were invited to walk, jog or run 5k to raise money to help beat cancer.
This year, for the first time they made it one large event (rather than two separate morning and afternoon Races), and as you can see there were plenty of participants ready and eager to get going! And there are over 80 pics taken at the evant available for you to vew now by clicking here.
Their fundraising target for 2009 in Aberdeen is £489,000.
