Craig McDonald

Craig is the man in charge of the music on Original’s afternoon show – He’s got cruise control on 3 til 4pm and then Drivetime kicks in from 4pm every weekday.

Great songs are guaranteed and every day AND there’s a chance to win a pair of tickets to Cineworld on the Movie Guru Quiz.

That and the most up to date news and travel every day there’s no better choice in Aberdeen and North-East Scotland.

Brought to you by C & M McDonald

What is the best gig you have ever been to?

T in the park back in 1995 – it was so long ago that it was in black and white.

Who’s the most famous person you have met?

Noel Gallagher – never again! The bleep machine still hasn’t got over it either.

What is the strangest thing that has happened on your show?

Managing to lock myself out of the studio in my 3rd week at Original has to be the scariest thing that’s happened yet! (I’m still hoping it was all just a bad dream – someone wake me up!)

If you could have one superpower what would it be?

The power to get served “next” at a bar every time.

What was your favourite childhood sweet?

A red bounty! Still is but finding shops that sell them is like finding hens teeth (perhaps hens teeth still are childhood sweet out in the sticks)

Do you have a secret talent?

Of course! But it’s so secret that I’ve yet to find it.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

See Question 2.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Remember the studio door code.

Who is your most embarrassing celebrity crush that you’ve ever had?

Glynis Barber from Dempsey & Makepeace

What has been your most favourite moment at Original 106 so far?

Getting back into the studio after locking myself out.

Tell us something about another Original 106 presenter?

Alastair Gossip has Scotland’s largest collection of dungarees.*

*not really.
