Pedestrian, 70, dies after collision on Aberdeen road

A man has died after a crash in Aberdeen.
The 70-year-old male was one of two pedestrians involved along with two cars, on Inverurie Road in Bucksburn last night.
The other pedestrian – an 18-year-old woman – is in hospital with serious injuries, and is in a stable condition.
The incident happened just before 8pm near the junction with Gilbert Road and involved a black BMW estate car and a silver Nissan Pixo.
Road Policing Sergeant Craig McNeill saod: “Our thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible tragedy.
“I am extremely interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have seen either vehicle beforehand. I would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3633 of 9th November 2019.”
