North-East MP to introduce school bus safety bill
A school bus safety bill - aimed at preventing another tragic loss of life on roads in the North East and UK wide - will go before MPs at Westminster later.
Malcolm Bruce will introduce his proposals - which include an all out ban on overtaking stationary school vehicles - following the deaths of Robyn Oldham and Alexander Milne.
The youngsters - from Turriff and Lonmay - died within a fortnight of each other, each knocked down as they stepped off their school buses.
