Government won't meet police overtime bill after north sea disaster

Grampian Police will have to meet the cost of overtime incurred during last April's helicopter crash - after the Scottish Government turned down a request for help.

Martin Greig - convenor of the police board -  hit out at the decision - pointing out Lothian and Borders police have been able to claim additional money for their parliamentary policing duties.
