Traffic restrictions will be in place in parts of
Aberdeen city centre on Wednesday 15th April, to facilitate the memorial service for the victims of the
North Sea helicopter tragedy.

The service will be held in the Kirk of St Nicholas Uniting at 2pm.

Union Street will be closed between the
Market Street and Union Terrace junctions from 10am until 4.30pm.

Back Wynd,
Gaelic Lane, Little Belmont Street and
Belmont Street will be closed from 6am until 4.30pm.

Correction Wynd will be closed from its junction with
St Nicholas Lane to its junction with
St Nicholas Street from 6am until 4.30pm.

There will be an all-day ban on parking, waiting and loading on Schoolhill and Upperkirkgate between
Blackfriars Street and
Broad Street, and along the entire length of Union Terrace, except for buses and authorised vehicles associated with the memorial event.

Only authorised vehicles associated with the memorial service will be permitted to enter or remain within the above roads during the times given.

The ban on right turns from
King Street into
West North Street will be lifted for buses only. The ban on right turns from
Union Street into
Bridge Street will be lifted for all traffic during the
Union Street closure.
