Lifeboat crews in Aberdeen were dispatched to help a sick crew member on an offshore vessel.
The Bon Accord was sent out just after 7pm on Sunday to the MV Maersk Laser, around five miles south-east of Aberdeen.
The man was brought back onshore and sent to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
His current condition is unknown.
Davie Orr, coxswain of Aberdeen Lifeboat says: “This was a very satisfactory outcome. We were quickly able to put casualty care crew aboard the vessel and assess symptoms. When I sought advice from A&E it came quickly and allowed us to bring the gentleman ashore for onward transfer to the health services ashore.”
