Jodi Jones' killer is back behind bars after failing to have his conviction overturned.
19 yr old Luke Mitchell was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend in 2005 - 2 years after she died.
The 14 yr old was brutally stabbed in Midlothian.
Mitchell's legal team argued he hadn't had a fair trial due to the media attention but that was rejected.
It was also argued the conviction wasn't sound because all the evidence was circumstantial.
However, Scotland's top judge, Lord Justice Hamilton, backed the original verdict. |
