First minister confirms biggest daily increase in coronavirus cases in Scotland

The first minister has announced the biggest daily jump in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Scotland.
During a media briefing in Edinburgh, Nicola Sturgeon revealed 322 people in Scotland have now tested positive for Covid-19, an increase of 56 on yesterday.
She also urged people to follow guidelines around social distancing and again called for a stop to panic buying in supermarkets.
Meanwhile, the number of people with the virus in Grampian has increased to 19, up by one
It comes as school across the UK prepare to close their doors indefinitely later today in an effort to mitigate the spread of the pandemic.
