Firefighters called to tackle blaze at Aberdeen nature reserve

Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at an Aberdeen nature reserve this morning.
Two fire engines and a forestry unit were sent to the fire at the Gramps in Kincorth Hill just before 9am.
More than a dozen firefighters were also dispatched.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “There are three appliances and 14 firefighters there.
“There are several seats of fire in an area of around 10,000 sq ft.
“Crews are using a hose reel jet, beaters and backpacks.”
