Emergency services have been called out after a boat ran aground off the cost of Aberdeenshire.

The RNLI were called to assist the pleasure craft, which beached off the west coast of Whitehills, at around 1.30pm.

The coastguard from Banff and Portsoy, a search & rescue helicopter and a local fishing boat are also on the scene.

The crew have managed to get off the vessel and are currently waiting to be taken to safety.
