I am a Fifer who has lived in the North East for three years. I started my career in Edinburgh and have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet some very interesting people during the course of my career in broadcasting. My musical tastes are pretty varied and include Coldplay, Keane, Razorlight, Sheryl Crow and James Morrison to name but a few. Highlights of my career so far have included an interview with Joan Bakewell, one of the first female broadcasters to make her mark in a notoriously male dominated industry in the sixties and the still gorgeous Donny Osmond whilst at least a hundred female fans, which often included three generations of the same family waiting outside to get his autograph. It was like time stood still. The most challenging times of my career have definitely been 9/11 and Dunblane. Both experiences proved humbling in the extreme and demanded the utmost professionalism. When Im not working I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Reading, going to cinema and all the usual pursuits.
