Which celebrity do you secretly fancy, (but you know you shouldn't)? I quite like Ashley Jensen. But there's no reason why I shouldn't fancy her. Norwegian singer Lene Marlin is quite nice too, but again, why shouldn't I be allowed to fancy her?
If you could have written any song ever what would it be? Yesterday by the Beatles. And only because of the royalties.
Perfect dinner date and what would be on the menu? Anyone who doesn't mind a dinner date in their local branch of Subway, and naturally it would be foot long sandwiches on the menu.
Favourite on-air moment? When I got to go to Munich with David Heane and we spoke to Eddi the slightly drunken but incredibly friendly German football supporter. He did an acoustic version of Mull of Kintyre for us.
If you could change any part of your body what would it be? Everyone says I'm really lucky with this, but I'm very very thin. And I hate being as thin as I am. No matter how much rubbish I eat, I'm still thin. I'm sure one day it will all pile on.
Favourite Venue? In Aberdeen the Tunnels is quite a nice venue. Never been disappointed with the Music Hall. Ever though... god bless the North Star in Shetland. Dark, dingy and terrible sound, but it had a certain quality about it. It's now a block of flats.
Favourite ever gig? Roddy from Idlewild, the Hazy Janes and Mark Radcliffe's Family Mahone all on the same bill at the pre mentioned North Star in Shetland. There were only about 30 of us there.
Which firework best describes you? I'll get back to you on that one. What a daft question.
Describe your best ever fancy dress.... I once went to a fancy dress party as myself. That was good.
What's your first ever memory? My 4th birthday party. My mum dressed me in a ridiculous shirt and bow tie. Never been dressed quite as nice since then.
Favourite album of all time? Idlewild, the Remote Part. I have a signed copy. I won it listening to Janice Long at about 2am one morning when I couldn't sleep.
