Hi I'm David, half-Aberdonian Yorkshireman and I've made the big move back to my roots to be part of the team at Original 106. I love my music and the 80s is definitely my favourite era if I had to pick one, I love my sport too (most definitely watching rather than playing.) I'm a Leeds fan (no jokes, I've heard them all already!) and love my cricket too (used to be quite useful myself many, many years ago, now I just watch!). I'm a veggie, I'm addicted to coffee, love being by the sea, love the winter and the dark nights. I don't like tea, karaoke, big dogs or boxing. I've lived in Brighton, Birmingham Berlin, Yorkshire and now Aberdeen....

Which celebrity do you secretly fancy, (but you know you shouldn’t) Molly Compton from Corrie (real name Vicky Binns), Hazel Irvine (sadly didn't bump into her when she was here for the snooker) and Lesley Garrett (opera singer)
If you could have written any song ever what would it be. "Waiting for that Day" George Michael or "Make You Feel My Love" Adele (loving that album)
Perfect dinner date and what would be on the menu? Potato skins, pizza and strawberry cheesecake, red wine (quite a mixture) with Sky Mangel from Neighbours to share it! (Fat chance)
Favourite on-air moment? When I worked in Manchester, Peter Kay phoned in for a request, saying he listened to me all the time! He then decided to drop by the studio in person to introduce his request . The most amazingly surreal half hour of my life!
If you could change any part of your body what would it be? Legs to make me not so reluctant to wear shorts
Favourite Venue? Elland Road obviously!
Favourite ever gig? George Michael 2006...just incredible
Which firework best describes you? Sparkler...er obviously!
Describe your best ever fancy dress? Ah I'm busy that night
What’s your first ever memory? Dropping a brick on my big toe and the nail went very black.
Favourite album of all time? Changes all time, but loving Adele's "19" and Amy MacDonald "This Is The Life" right now, Keane "Hopes and Fears", George Michael "Listen Without Prejudice vol 1", "Raintown" Deacon Blue.....etc etc
Worst childhood misdemeanor? I do remember pressing the escalator "stop" button in a big department store, when there were loads of people on it!
