Friday August 9th 2019 at 6:41 AM

New images appearing to show missing Aberdeen man Keith Roger boarding a bus in Union Square last week have been released in attempt to trace him.

A man fitting the description of 52-year-old Keith Roger was captured on CCTV boarding a bus in Union Square in Aberdeen on Friday afternoon.

A search was launched to find the 52-year-old from Gordon Street on Friday after a Ford KA he had access to was found overturned and abandoned on the B993, between Kemnay and Monymusk, at around 5.05 am.

New CCTV footage has now been released, appearing to show a man fitting his description boarding a bus in Union Square in Aberdeen bound for Stonehaven at about 1.30pm on Friday, 9 August.

It’s thought he got off the bus in Cowie Bridge in Stonehaven.

He’s described as 5 foot 10 inches tall, of medium build with short grey/white balding hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark jeans and black and white trainers.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0547 of 9 August.

Chief Inspector David Howieson stated: “Given the passage of time since Mr Roger was last seen there are clearly concerns regarding his well-being.

“Our enquiries suggest a male fitting the description of Mr Roger boarded a bus from Union Square, Aberdeen bound for Stonehaven at about 1.30pm on Friday 9 August and got off the bus in the Cowie Bridge area of Stonehaven.

“We would appeal to anyone who has seen Mr Roger or a male fitting his description or who was on the Aberdeen to Stonehaven bus on Friday to contact Police on 101 quoting reference 0547 of 9 August.”
