Original 106 were proud co-sponsors of this year's Baker Hughes 10k Run, and well done to everyone who took part in the event on Sunday, May 25th

Neil Weightman led Team Original 106 – raising money for ‘Friends of ANCHOR' along the way…..Neil came home in a very respectable time of 54 minutes

We're just one of a whole host of backers, who also included:

BAKER HUGHES has been the main sponsor of the even for the last 14 years. They provide financial support and provide a number of volunteers for the race.

MAKRO have provided the water for the race in partnership with HIGHLAND SPRING and have also provided the snack bags for all the marshals helping on the race route.

NEW BALANCE has provided the race t-shirts, numbers and prizes for the winners in the various categories.

THE RUNNING SHOP at South Mount Street have also provided race prizes.

BANKS O' DEE SPORTS CLUB have provided support for the Fun Run for a number of years. They provide sport prizes and a free daily pass to all 10k runners on production of their race number.

SANGS in partnership with the Banks O' Dee Sports Club have provided juice for all Fun Run participants.

ALPINE BANKS ABERDEEN have provided the medical team bikes.

HOST catering is provided healthy breakfasts in the tented area, where donations will be welcomed with all proceeds going to the race charities.

The charities involved this year hope to raise lots of money from their runners and the event the organisers would like to thank them for the volunteers provided.
