An Aberdeen alcohol support unit's been thrown a financial lifeline.
Albyn House - which offers beds to drunks so they don't have to spend the night in a police cell - has won funding until the end of the year.
The city's Joint Alcohol and Drugs Action Team have awarded the service around £50,000 to keep it running - after council budget cuts saw their grant pulled. |
