Lewis Ferguson has signed a contract extension keeping him with the Dons an extra two years.
The 19-year-old has penned a deal to stay with Aberdeen until 2024.
He only joined the Pittodrie club this summer on a pre-contract deal from Hamilton.
The youngster, who has played for Scotland at under-19 and under-21 level, made his Dons debut against Burnley in the Europa League qualifiers.
Speaking to the club’s website, Ferguson said it was “an easy decision”, adding: “As everyone can see, I am loving life up in Aberdeen and enjoying every bit of it.
“It is a long time, the length of the contract. And I have a lot to thank the manager and the club for.
“I have to thank them for repaying me with a new contact and I am just delighted.
“It shows that manager really trusts me and wants me here for the next few years.”
