£15,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin has been seized by police in Aberdeen.
Officers searched properties in Summerfield Terrace and Inverurie Road yesterday.
A 24-year-old Birmingham woman and a local 47-year-old man have been charged.
They are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant Willie Murdoch said: “We will relentlessly pursue those who choose to involve themselves in the illegal supply of drugs.
“We work closely with forces across the UK, as well as partners and independent agencies like Crimestoppers to target those involved in organised criminal activity.
“We rely on the support of our communities to do this and continue to urge anyone with concerns to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
