Security beefed up at Aberdeen Airport

Further security enhancements are being introduced at Aberdeen Airport.

Work begins today on a 2 million pound development at the Dyce Terminal, which will see a new dedicated lane for taxis and buses and a drop-off area for passengers.

Temporary concrete blocks - put in place in the wake of the attack on Glasgow Airport last year - will be replaced by permanent bollards.

The work is expected to last around 18 weeks.
